Examinations

With annual vaccinations and illness, your pet will receive a complete head to toe examination, a written record of our findings and recommendations for your records and referral, plus, detailed handouts describing procedures, diseases, etc.

A thorough complete examination by a veterinarian is recommended at least annually. Remember that pets age 5 – 7 times faster than people. Just as with people, a thorough physical exam may be the most important part of a pet’s office visit.

At least 50% of the patients we see have a physical problem that the owner is unaware of.

This is a time we can discuss disease prevention, new advances in the field of veterinary medicine, medical problems that are found, perform tests and update any needed vaccinations.

Screening tests such as Health Profiles, Microscopic Fecal Parasite Analysis, Heartworm Detection, etc. are all important parts of a Comprehensive Wellness Program.
