Digital X-Rays
X-rays are so useful in veterinary medicine as they help us to visualize your pet’s skeletal structure as well as organs and body cavities. By using digital X-rays rather than film X-rays, we’re also ensuring your pet has a safer, faster procedure. Digital X-rays give us a crystal-clear image that takes far less time to process and exposes your pet to far less radiation. Plus, we can easily send the digital file it creates to you or a specialist for a second opinion. X-rays help us in diagnosing the following:

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is an incredibly versatile tool. It uses ultrasonic sound waves to create a live 2D image of working organs, joints, and cavities. With an ultrasound with Doppler radar, we can even measure your pet’s blood flow and velocity to detect heart problems or blood clots.

In-House Laboratory
An in-house lab is essential for a vet practice. It allows us to run blood work, fecal exams, skin tests and more all in our own hospital, which gives us quick results. We frequently use our lab for annual blood work as well as fecal exams. By keeping up on annual testing, we’re able to form a more complete history of your pet and more readily detect changes in their blood work that could indicate disease.
